Following a brief hiatus, where I was absent due to ill health, I came back to update the website today to find over 3,000 spam posts awaiting my attention.

As a result, I’ve changed a few things around here…

• All existing registered users have been changed from contributor to subscriber, except where previously submitted content has been approved
• All new users will automatically be registered as a subscriber
• All pending posts, which are clearly spam have been deleted from the system
• All users responsible for spam posts have been deleted from the system

Apologies for the sweeping changes, but nobody has time to be dealing with pages of spam each time they log-in.

If you do have something you want to say about cloud hosting, please do feel free to get in touch, and if I can verify that you’re a real person, I’ll happily change your account from subscriber to contributor.

Normal service will resume tomorrow.
